Ryan has performed around the world in Ireland, Lithuania, and Russia, as well as Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and received his Artist Diploma from the Colburn Conservatory of Music. Ryan joined the Oregon Symphony in 2011 and has become part of the musical community as a collaborator, teacher, and coach. He performs in Portland Public schools each year as part of Oregon Symphony’s Community Outreach program, which aims to educate and bring world class music to a diverse group of children. He has brought music to different venues such as the St Mary’s Home For Boys, Providence Center for the Medically Fragile, Trillium Family Services, Oregon State University, and the Moda Center. He is in demand as a coach for the Portland Youth Conservatory Orchestra, Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, Beaverton Symphony, and Portland State University Orchestra.
